Dedicated Internal Resource Hub for SOPs, Looms & guides
Right now we're using Firm Tasks as a makeshift resource hub for our team's SOPs, Loom videos, guides, and tutorials. Firm Tasks weren't designed for reference content, so: Reference material clutters the task list and gets mixed in with actual work. "Completing" a task doesn't map to "I read/watched this" — so we either leave them permanently open or mark them done and lose them. There's no folder structure, no categorization, and no way to browse by topic. Search is limited and the content is buried alongside real to-dos. New team members have no clean starting point for onboarding materials. Requested: a dedicated Internal Resource Hub section inside Double, separate from Tasks. Must-haves: Team-only (not visible to clients). Folders/categories (Onboarding, Close Process, Client Communication, Software Guides, Policies, etc.). Support for embedded Loom videos, PDFs, images, links, and rich-text SOPs/guides. Search across all resources. Not tied to task status — resources are permanent reference, not work to complete. Nice-to-haves: Tag resources by role (Bookkeeper, Reviewer, Admin) so relevant items surface per user. Track views/acknowledgements for policy sign-offs and onboarding checklists. Link a resource to a task type or workstream so the relevant SOP surfaces on the task itself. Use case: Get reference content out of Firm Tasks so the task list stays clean, and give the team an actual searchable, organized knowledge base for how our practice operates.
