There are 20 states that don't participate in the Combined 1099 Filing with the IRS. If a vendor lives in one of those states, I have to look up the filing requirements for that state. It would be very helpful to have a check box or an auto generate alert based on the state somewhere in the 1099 area. It would be really cool if it populated instructions (see Track1099s state filing area) so we didn't have to look it up. Maybe the address in that area is enough, but I'm just dreaming.... =) These are the states that DO do combined filing...its' the other ones that are stinkers.
