I'd like the ability to pause a timer while working on a client or firm work.

Add a button on each task to be able to click to start the timer (a timer column). Have the task description populate on the Notes section of the timer. Also, add the option to pause the timer and also enter time manually. Ability to add budgeted time (per time entry) is also needed.

Feature request: Nested / sub-workstreams for time tracking Currently workstreams are a flat list, and monthly close workstreams (e.g., "Close - July 2026") auto-group under a "Month end close" parent in the UI. It would be extremely useful to be able to add a second level of nesting under each monthly close — e.g., Close – July 2026 → Reconciliations, Transaction Review, Accruals, Reporting, Client Communication. This would let firms measure time by section within a specific month's close without losing the per-month grouping, and would make Capacity Planning far more actionable for identifying bottlenecks in the close process.

I use specific Notes/Descriptions under a more generalized Workflow, so it would be super awesome to be able to see recent timer info within a client when opening the Start Timer function, with maybe even the ability to click on a "play" button to resume that same exact activity (like Toggl Track). It would be nice to not have to keep that description handy to copy and paste each time I start the timer!

Hi, I'd like to have Google Calendar events automatically populate within Timers in Keeper to make it easier to log my time and not have to manually create a Timer for a meeting that is already within Google Calendar

In case an employee forgets to end a timer allow the admin to stop the timer on their behalf.

Under Timers → Settings → Clients, each client currently only supports a Rate per month field. This works for fixed-fee engagements, but many of our clients are billed hourly, and there's no way to capture that in the client's timer settings today. Requested: Add a Rate per hour column alongside Rate per month. Allow each client to be configured as either flat-fee (monthly rate) or hourly (hourly rate) — or both, if a client has mixed engagements. Have effective-rate / realization / profitability reporting use the hourly rate when set, so timer entries on hourly clients report against the correct rate. Use case: We have a mix of monthly-retainer and hourly clients. Right now hourly clients show a "-" for rate and are effectively excluded from rate-based reporting, which distorts profitability analysis across the practice.

I would like to be able to mark billable time entries as invoiced. It would help us keep up with whether or not the time entries have already been invoiced, or if we are holding those entries to the next cycle.

Add billable rates in time tracking for hourly work that is billed separately

When we onboard clients, we will sometimes charge a one-time fee. Could an option be made to enter in a one-time fee in the client rates area and track time against it? We're trying to log our time from when the clients starts, but it is effecting the overall effective hourly rate and making it lower than expected.
