Show future month bills and expenses in accrued expenses task

There are times when a bill or an expense is dated for or paid out in the months following the close month. We'll see that the expense or bill was for the current period but is recorded in a later month. We'll record it in the accrued expense account but it doesn't show up for review in the current month's accrued expenses task.
Can the task be updated to include expense and bills that are recorded in future months?
