We need an app so we can assign firm tasks and client tasks on the go - similar to Monday.

I would love to be able to have an app even if it was only to check off the tasks for the firm and clients not necessarily full features for everything but to be able to check off tasks that are completed and such.

It would be super helpful if there was an app for the iPhone to sync all your tasks on your phone as well. Then you could see reminders/task deadlines on your cell phone and not just get emails and such.

Mobile App for Firms (Not Just Clients) – Notifications + Ability to Respond

Right now, clients have a mobile app, but firms are stuck using the web browser only.
This is a big gap.
As a firm owner/operator, I’m rarely sitting at my desk all day. A huge amount of work happens between meetings, while traveling, or just away from a laptop. Having to log into a browser just to check a comment or respond to a question creates unnecessary friction and slows everything down.
What’s missing:
No push notifications when:
A team member comments
A client responds
Something needs review/approval
No way to quickly:
Reply to internal comments
Answer client questions
Approve/review items
What this leads to:
Delayed responses to clients
Slower internal communication
Bottlenecks in review workflows
Less engagement with the platform overall
What would solve it:
A simple mobile app (or even lightweight mobile functionality) for firms that allows:
Push notifications
Comment/message replies
Basic review/approval of reports, transactions, and tasks
Even just notifications + ability to respond would be a massive improvement.
This feels like a core workflow gap for firms using Double daily.
If you run a team or manage client communication through Double, this is a no-brainer.

Yes please!!!! Being able to respond to team comments on the go would make it easier for me to stay on top of things.

This is why im canceling double. As a owner this gap is too big for me to keep it.

All other major tax applications have this it would be so nice! I have meetings n such outside the office when staff calls me I have to wait until I get back which creates more emails I want to just create the tasks when I’m on the go. Mobile doesn’t work tablet somewhat if I struggle through it. If u can get it mobile ready or tablet ready then that would be helpful

Mobile web version of the firm portal. I am not always at my computer, so if I wanted to check something or add something, I could then vs waiting until I got home.
