Currently, while building a Metrics report, Double only displays accounts in the picker that have transaction activity within the trailing 12-month period. This means accounts without recent activity won't appear as selectable options, even though they exist in the Chart of Accounts. Please make all accounts in the Chart of Accounts available to select in the picker - regardless of transaction activity. This would prevent manual oversight and allow firms to proactively select all relevant accounts during setup, even those that might become active later in the reporting period.
