Currently the only way to apply a task template to a tax return year is by adding a future tax year. However, sometimes we get started on a tax return and discover that we have to file prior year returns. There is no way currently to apply task templates to those prior year returns without deleting all of the tax years and having that earliest year be the first year. This is unsustainable for our firm. We HAVE to have a way to apply task templates to prior years.
