Ability to Update Bank Account Names in Account Reconciliation Section

I want to be able to refresh or edit the bank account names in the account reconciliation section; sometimes we re-name in Quickbooks for more clarity, or accounts get numbered, and Double does not allow the name updates to reflect in Double, which gets confusing.

The common best practice for getting an account in Double to reflect the name change in QBO is to remove & re-add the account, which does work. The issue with this solution is that you potentially lose any of the footnotes & comparison ability because that account's been removed & essentially 'restarts' when you re-add it. 
I'd hate for a user to remove/re-add to reflect a name change and lose all that data in Double
