The gap: In the current AI Bank Feeds experience, each deposit has to be opened and changed from "Deposit" to "Transfer" individually. There's no way to multi-select bank feed lines and record them as transfers in one action. For comparison, QBO's bank feed supports batch "Record as transfer," and for teams processing high transaction volumes, the difference adds up quickly across clients.
What would solve it (any of these):
  1. A batch action in bank feeds: multi-select lines → "Record as Transfer" → choose the offset account once.
  2. The ability for bank feed rules to set transaction type to Transfer and specify the transfer account, so recurring payout descriptors (e.g., "STRIPE TRANSFER") are handled automatically.
  3. More broadly, a bulk "change type" action for selected bank feed transactions.
Option 2 would actually be our preference, since it fits Double's rules-driven approach and would eliminate the touch entirely rather than just speeding it up.
