Bug Fixes & Performance Improvements

This week's update focused on performance improvements and polishing up existing features to make your Double experience even better.

Other Improvements

Added "Entity Type" for vendors to the Prepare 1099s and Custom 1099 reports.
Updated the 1099 threshold to $2,000 for 2026 for 1099-NEC by default in the Prepare 1099s report.
Added "Account Type" and "Detail Type" to Newly Added Accounts report.
When accrual journal entries are edited in QBO manually after being posted through Double's Accruals, Double will now detect mismatches and display which entries are out of sync.

Bug Fixes

Fixed a bug where metrics for UK firms showed mixed USD and GBP currencies.
Fixed a bug where bank feeds prompted some users to route bank accounts unnecessarily.
Fixed a bug where bulk‑updating transaction splits triggered an error.
Fixed a bug where accounts were not populating for inter‑company transfers.
Fixed a bug where the Account Reconciliation “Compare To” column displayed incorrect values.
Fixed a bug where users were unable to generate Management Reports and instead saw a generic error message.
Fixed a bug where practice phone number texts were not being delivered to contacts.
Fixed a bug where users were unable to edit the Detail tab in Client Info.
Fixed a bug where moving a file from client uploads to a transaction resulted in an error.
Fixed a bug where Client Details links redirected to Client Notes instead of the appropriate tab.
Fixed a bug where task due dates displayed inconsistently across views.
Fixed a bug where archiving a client resulted in an error message.
Fixed a bug where uploading attachments to Xero showed a confirmation in Double but failed to upload in Xero.
Fixed a bug where the Client Portal showed transaction questions as “ready” even though they were not visible to the bookkeeper.
Fixed a bug where fully depreciated fixed assets could not be imported.
Fixed a bug where some receipts did not generate match suggestions.
