Ask questions right from the Financials tab in the Client Portal
  • Clients viewing a published report or interactive financial report can now ask the firm a question without leaving the report.
  • The question flow opens on top of the report, so it’s easier to keep the report in view while reaching out.
General Improvements
  • Ask Double now searches Double's help center live to answer product questions.
  • Accrual actions (create, edit, delete) are now recorded in the Activity Log for full audit traceability.
  • Folder and subfolder structure is now preserved when downloading a parent folder as a ZIP.
  • Added an upload-date column to the attachments list so files with the same name are easy to tell apart.
  • You can now delete and restore upload-inbox files from trash.
  • Reconciliation task view fly-out is narrower and no longer causes layout issues on smaller screens.
  • Cleaner help-center search links in Ask Double (removed an unnecessary new-tab notice).
  • AI transactions now supports Canadian tax codes.
Bug Fixes
  • Fixed tagging users in Comments.
  • Fixed comment scroll behavior when a comment is selected.
  • Fixed comments on completed tasks incorrectly showing as a deleted task.
  • Fixed AI workpapers carrying a prior statement balance into a new close.
  • Fixed AI journal entries pulling in deactivated accounts.
  • Fixed QBO posting failures caused by certain class IDs.
  • Added a success message when deleting files from Files › Auto-organized.
