Create transactions with Ask Double

Ask Double can create transactions for you directly in the chat. You can start from an uploaded document or just describe the transaction in plain language, and Ask Double will extract the details, ask about anything that's missing, and post it once you approve. Available for QBO users on Scale only.

General Improvements

AI Flux analysis notes can now be bulk added to your Comments or Footnotes. Learn more in our help article here.
Posted transactions now show a status card (and a table for batches) in Ask Double, with click-through to the transaction in QBO.
You can now switch a transaction's type mid-conversation in Ask Double instead of restarting the flow.
Admins can now add new team members directly through Ask Double.
Ask Double can now create monthly closes for one or more clients at once via MCP.
AI Flux Analysis variance explanations are now included in Final Review P&L and Balance Sheet CSV/Excel exports.
Clicking "Run skill" now inserts the skill into your prompt instead of running it immediately, so you can edit before sending.
The skill editor now renders Markdown properly, making tables and formatting far easier to read.
Account Reconciliation and Final Review now open Ask Double directly from their AI buttons.
Project header chips, client list, and close-page headers received design-system polish (sentence-case labels, consistent menu sizing, cleaner padding).

Bug Fixes

Fixed Ask Double chat scrolling back to the top after each message.
Fixed the chat input not showing its focused state until you started typing.
Fixed standard users getting a generic error instead of a clear "contact your admin" permission message in Ask Double.
Fixed posting large transaction groups (100+) failing against QBO rate limits.
Fixed the unmapped-accounts message to read "Finish mapping your accounts" so it's clear mapping is still needed.
Removed Xero from an upsell banner since Xero isn't supported.
Fixed the error boundary not displaying on production errors after the router migration.
Fixed the clipped "+" icon on the Add close button.
Fixed South African (ZA/ZAF) tax code mapping for QBO VAT clients.
