Edit Transactions with AI
You can now edit a posted transaction in place or duplicate it into a new draft, then make changes manually or with AI Composer (Scale). It's a faster way to fix entries and reuse recurring ones like payroll journal entries. Available for QBO users only.
Check out the video below to see it in action or read more in our Help article here.
Skill Sharing
Ask Double now remembers your preferences and lets you save reusable workflows as skills. Keep them private, share them firm-wide, or link them to specific clients so your team runs the same SOPs consistently.

General Improvements
  • Ask Double's chat input is now focused as soon as you open it, so you can start typing right away.
  • Widened the account list in the Sage account mapper so that account names display fully without being cut off.
  • Removed an unnecessary warning banner that was incorrectly appearing for transaction-based allocations by class.
  • Updated the suspended subscription messaging to direct contacts to mailto:billing@doublehq.com for faster resolution, replacing the previous reference to Intercom.
Bug Fixes
  • Fixed a broken settings icon in the navigation bar.
  • Fixed a bug where clicking on a vendor in the Newly Added Vendor report would jump to the top of the close page instead of navigating to the correct location.
  • Fixed an issue where Chase bank feeds were getting stuck in a perpetual syncing state and not updating with new transactions.
  • Fixed a bug where new sections (loan amortizations, allocations) were automatically being added to all client views instead of only the intended one.
  • Fixed a bug in the AI bank feed where "Find other matches" was selecting the wrong transactions and displaying an incorrect total.
  • Fixed a bug where the recognition period for an accrual entry would reset after being set manually.
  • Fixed a bug where the delete close confirmation modal displayed a raw numeric code (e.g., "202511") instead of a human-readable month and year (e.g., "November 2025").
  • Fixed an issue where workflow pre-check tasks were being generated for new clients even when the associated close section had been deleted from the practice.
  • Fixed a display bug affecting the visibility of Skills in the Ask Double interface.
  • Fixed an issue that was preventing new users from signing in to their Double account.
