Settings for Clients in the Portal
Clients now have more control over their portal experience with new settings for managing contact information and notification preferences.
- Clients can update their first name, last name, and phone number directly from the portal on web or mobile.
- Client Admins can customize notification preferences to receive alerts for only their assigned items (default) or for all questions and requests across the portal.
- Changes sync automatically with their contact information in Double.
General Improvements
- Users can now choose to roll forward footnotes to each new close. The roll forward option can be disabled when the footnote is no longer relevant.
- Sign-offs will now be updated when applying a task template to a client.
- When a client uploads a document to an organizer, this detail will now be added to notification emails.
- Newly created tasks will now automatically be ordered at the bottom of the relevant task section.
- Improved design of saved AI prompt tables.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug where posting a bank feed transaction from the Transaction Questions table resulted in a “Something went wrong” error.
- Fixed a bug where clients did not appear in the QBO dropdown during connection setup.
- Fixed a bug where certain receipts sent to the client portal did not appear in the portal.
- Fixed a bug where some invoice payments could not be selected when recording payments from receipts.
- Fixed a bug where users could not edit certain transactions in Bank Feeds due to an invalid item-based transaction error.
- Fixed a bug where adding a vendor email address in QBO returned a “There was an error while saving the vendor” message.
- Fixed a bug where navigating to the Accruals tab resulted in a “Something went wrong” error.
- Fixed a bug where customers could not be edited in the Prepare 1099s report.
- Fixed a bug where creating a customer with the same name as an existing vendor failed silently without an error message.
- Fixed a bug where uploading a PDF to a new e-signature draft resulted in a 500 network error.
- Fixed a bug where users were unable to preview the Client Portal.
- Fixed a bug where tasks containing commas in their titles did not appear when filtering by task name.
- Fixed a bug where blank rows appeared on the Client List.
