Create Expenses with AI
AI in Double now supports Expenses, giving you even more support for turning complex receipts or other documents into ready-to-post transactions. If you’re already using Double's AI for posting journal entries or bills, you can now apply the same time-saving workflows to expenses for more consistency and fewer manual steps.
  • Apply the same AI workflows you already use for Bills and JEs.
  • Save prompts once and reuse them across more instances of your repeatable but manually intensive work.

General Improvements
  • Added a preview to task templates so you can view exactly what will be added and/or changed when applying a template to a specific client.
  • You can now bulk edit tags on the Task list.
  • When creating a task from the Quick Add menu or your Email inbox, you can now add priority stars and/or tags in this initial step.
  • Streamlined the design of the comments and client uploads columns on the Client list.
  • Improved the experience for importing large schedules via csv to Accruals.
Bug Fixes
  • Fixed a bug where some clients encountered an error when creating a new close.
  • Fixed a bug where a user could not edit the Executive Summary after generating it with AI.
  • Fixed a bug where search was not working as intended in the Prepare 1099s report due to a Chrome update.
