Client property edit permissions
Firms that invest in setting up client properties can now control who's allowed to change them. Standard users could previously edit, add, or overwrite any property.
Now, admins can restrict property editing to the roles you choose.

Check transactions in Receipts and AI Transactions
Check is now a supported transaction type in AI Transactions. Turn a client's check register straight into checks.
  • Turn a photo or scan of a check register into multiple check transactions
  • Add a one-off check to the register without the Expense workaround
General Improvements
  • Post only part of a receipt. When one receipt produces several transactions, post the ones you're ready for instead of all or nothing — previously a partial post only happened when something failed against QBO.
  • Escaping out of an edit, duplicate, or reverse flow no longer discards your unsaved changes.
  • See Ask Double credit spend broken out by user, so you can tell where your practice's credits are actually going.
  • File edits made in Double now sync back to your connected file storage provider.
  • In Loan Amortizations, confirm the cash payment that actually hit the loan account before pushing the interest adjusting JE — catching the discrepancy here avoids unwinding the entry during reconciliation later.
  • The fixed asset schedule export now includes fully depreciated assets, giving auditors the complete listing.
  • Gross Profit now appears on QBO P&Ls without a custom layout.
  • Thumbs up and down on Ask Double's default prompts, so weak prompts can be tuned.
  • The AI button now opens in every task modal, including Task List and Inbox.
  • Ask Double shows a banner when the model you've selected is having a provider outage, instead of just looking broken.
  • Cmd/Ctrl-click an Ask Double chat to open it in a new tab.
  • Paste larger screenshots into Ask Double — the 2000px dimension limit is gone.
  • Opening a chat link you don't have access to now says so instead of failing silently.
  • Adding a checklist focuses the first item so you can start typing.
  • Clicking the Double logo takes you back to the client list.
  • Double's bank feeds now prevent adding a vendor to transfers.
  • The Add files button is now disabled in the client portal when the client uploads inbox is turned off.
