Allocations by Revenue Share
Allocations can now split an amount across classes or locations automatically, based on each destination's share of revenue — no more working out the percentages in a spreadsheet first.
- A new Revenue share method sits alongside Percentage and Amount, for both transaction- and account-type allocations by class or location.
- Pick the income accounts and a timeframe (rolling month/3/6/12 months, or calendar/fiscal YTD/QTD) and Double computes each destination's share for you.
- For Scale users only

Loan Receivables
Loan Amortization isn't just for loans owed anymore — you can now set up and amortize loans your clients made.
- Mark a loan as a payable or a receivable at setup; the language adapts across the whole flow.
- Receivables use an interest income account and a loan receivable account instead of interest expense / loan payable.
- For Scale users only

Private Betas: Faster Load Times & AI Agents
There's still time to join two new private beta tests designed to make your accounting workflows faster and more automated:
- Faster Close Page Load Times: Test our new Close page architecture featuring a simple top toggle to switch between the new, optimized version and standard Close at any time.
- Double AI Agents: Build custom AI agents to automate recurring accounting tasks across selected clients on a schedule or event trigger, handing work off to your team when human review is needed. (Free for beta testers!)
General improvements
- See what a chat costs. Hover a chat title in Ask Double to see the total cost of that session.
- Bundle products & services in AI transactions. AI invoices and sales receipts now handle QBO bundle items correctly, so rate, amount, and class come through on bundle lines.
- Sign e-signature requests without leaving Double. When a signature request — like a tax return — is assigned to you as a Double user, review and sign it right in the product instead of hunting through email.
- Clearer bank-feed setup. Bank feeds now make it obvious when a bank is connected versus when accounts still need mapping — "Connect bank" is separated from adding accounts, empty states are clearer, and the Map accounts button shows how many accounts are mapped.
- Open journal entry drafts in a new tab, so it's easier to review entries in the right client context.
- Import time entries with their workstreams, through Ask Double and the API.
- Transfers in bank feeds now lock class, location, and customer fields, preventing values that wouldn't carry through when posting.
- Clearer error when you open a close with an intercompany reconciliation task but don't have access to all the associated clients.
- Clearer errors when editing an allocation in a closed period.
Bug fixes
- Organizers now refresh right after Ask Double makes a change, so you won't see stale draft/published state.
- Fixed contact search so recipients can be found by name or partial email and duplicate results are removed.
- Fixed the report type picker on the Configure report screen.
- Files you moved (matching to a transaction or out of the Uploads Inbox) no longer appear in Trash as if deleted.
- Bank-feed and accruals imports now show a clean status when they finish instead of a raw internal label.
- Fixed being unable to click "Message client" from the close page.
- Fixed an error when connecting an intercompany account in the reconciliation section.
- Fixed the Executive Summary graph so it labels and compares fiscal years correctly for clients whose fiscal year doesn't follow the calendar year.
- Fixed the totals row misaligning with the Debits and Credits columns in the Sage journal entry modal.
- Fixed transactions with attachments incorrectly appearing in the "Expenses & Bills without Attachments" report.
- Fixed prepaid expense dates showing one day behind in some timezones.
- Fixed re-linking a prepaid installment transaction to an installment contract after it had been unlinked.
- Fixed uploading attachments to Client Info property fields via the Chrome extension.
- Fixed the first sign-in link sent to a client contact sometimes failing and needing a resend.
- Fixed an error that could appear when clicking the home button.
- Fixed published organizers not downloading as PDFs.
- Fixed organizers containing emojis failing to download from Ask Double.
- Fixed dragging a close status option in Practice Settings moving another option along with it.
- Fixed the Accruals action column appearing greyed-out even though it was still clickable.
- Fixed the file-review staging area being unreachable when empty — it now has a deep link and a "no files pending review" message.
