Comments Refresh

Staying on top of client and team conversations just got a lot easier. We've redesigned the comments experience so you can find what you need, see what matters most, and keep work moving without getting lost in the noise.

What's new:

A cleaner, more intuitive design
makes finding and recalling conversations easier than ever.
Smarter search
helps you surface the right comments faster.
See what needs you, not everything open
- your client list now only flags unread comments so you're not distracted by open threads that don't need your attention. Firms that want to display all open comments can enable this in their Practice Settings.

This will be gradually rolling out to practices over the next few weeks.

General Improvements

You can now create accrual templates to apply across clients.
Google Gemini models are now available for AI transactions and AI reconciliations.
You can now download files directly from the document previewer in Client Uploads through the “…more" dropdown menu.

Bug Fixes

Fixed a bug that prevented comments from loading on the client list.
Fixed an issue where comments remained marked as "Unread" after being viewed.
Fixed a bug that prevented users from updating or clearing date-type properties under Client Info → Properties.
Fixed a bug where the emoji picker in client notes opened behind the notes modal.
Fixed a bug where recurring tasks created via the inbox's Add task option were saved as non-recurring tasks.
Fixed an issue where tasks weren't carrying over when creating a new close.
Fixed a visual issue where the Practice settings modal was positioned too low on the screen.
Fixed a Xero bug where updating an account could unintentionally update a linked account.
Fixed an issue that prevented some users from successfully connecting a Xero ledger.
Fixed an error that caused the Management Reports configuration page to fail when saving changes.
Fixed a bug that could cause duplicate bank feed transactions to appear in reconciliations.
Fixed a bug where the Bank Feeds "For Review" section could get stuck.
